Legend says, Bloodstone was formed when the blood of Christ fell to the green ground.. thus giving it it's healing and purifying properties. Bloodstone is a wonderful and powerful stone to clear blockages in the body. In the past bloodstone was said to be used to stop nosebleeds and as an amulet against unwanted, ill wishes.

It is a mix of Green Quartz and Red Jasper and forms as swirling bands or abstract patterns.
